I am excited for the upcoming season and ready to close the door on this year.  Roses will be arriving in the next couple of weeks.  I will then prune, thin out, and pot them up.  For those of you who buy bareroot roses remember to prune the roots as well.   For home gardens I recommend pruning in February or March to avoid die back.  For some reason I get very little dieback in gig harbor.

While I am waiting for the roses to arrive I am busy making Christmas Wreaths and preparing for the Christmas trees to arrive.  We will be opening for the Christmas season the day after Thanksgiving.

Until then we will be selling our wreaths at the Gig Harbor Farmers Market and The Proctor Farmers Market.
